Developed by Alexander and Baldwin, The Collection was one of the first projects to be completed on the west end of Kakaako in 2016. The Collection is a mixed use residential condo consisting of a main high rise tower, mid-rise building, and 3 story townhomes unlike any others on Oahu. Resting on one full city block, The Collection is anchored by commercial space which includes Drybar, restaurants and soon to come Bar Maze which is a collaboration between Restaurant Senia and Bar Leather Apron.
Main Tower
The main tower residences consist of 1, 2, and 3 bedrooms units ranging from 579 sq ft to 1,217 sq ft. (397 total units) Floor to ceiling windows fill these units with plenty of natural light and each unit offers a spacious lanai with incredible views. Units on the Diamond Head side will have sunrise, expansive Ocean and Diamond Head Views (Diamond Head Views will likely diminish as future projects are constructed). Ewa facing units will have sunset, Aloha Tower, Ocean, and Honolulu Harbor views. The higher you are, the better the view!
Mid-Rise Building
The mid-rise building offers smaller studios around 475 sq ft, with a very functional layout and sunset views over Honolulu Harbor. (no lanai) The studios do not have access to the main pool deck and other amenities.
Townhomes
The 3 bed 2.5 bath, 3 story Townhomes which line Auahi and South Street offer their own private entrance, private garage, and private rooftop terrace. The Collection Townhomes offer a great sense of privacy with the main living space on a separate floor from the bedrooms. The Townhomes also do not have access to the main amenities deck. Views will vary depending on each townhome location.
The Collection is situated on the western most end of Kakaako. Directly across the street from the main tower, you’ll find “SALT Kakaako” which is filled with coffee shops, restaurants, fitness/yoga centers, shopping, bars/beer tasting rooms, and much more. Across Ala Moana Blvd, you’ll find Kakaako Waterfront Park where you can fish, jog, and enjoy the sunsets. With places to gather, walk your dog, and enjoy your morning coffee, you’ll feel a sense of community at The Collection.
